Still vomiting and cant eat day after gallbladder removal?

my husband had his gall bladder removed yesterday,,but still cant keep a thing down and vomiting and in lots of pain, same as before surgery.I know its only the next day, but im so worried.Just looking for feedback from anyone who has been through this or knows someone who has or someone with medical experience. thanks
