Negative ultrasound, getting HIDA scan?

If your ultrasound was negative the HIDA can see if you have what may be a sludge build up which the ultrasound may not pick up do to the density...so yes many people who show classic gallbladder disease and have a negative ultrasound are found to have the sludge, blockage or that your gallbladder is not producing enough or to much bile which is not detected with an ultrasound..so for your peace of mind this is a very effective scan that will leave no doubt about what is going on in your gall bladder, liver, and intestines..
