Collapsed lung and cardiac arrest during pacemaker surgery?

My grandma recently had surgery for a pacemaker to be put in. This was a little shocking to my family since the doctors told her she wasn't even healthy enough to go through surgery for her gallbladder. During surgery she suffered a collapsed left lung and also went into cardiac arrest 4 times. They were able to get the pacemaker in and stabilize her using ventilizers. They did not think she was going to pull through, but a few hours after surgery she started lifting her arms and squeezing her hands. She then would respond with a head shake of yes or no to questions that were asked. And today she even opened her eyes and tried climbing out of bed, I just wanted to get an idea from everyone on how you think her recovery will turn out?? Thank you. And if you are just going to be rude in your response, then please don't even bother because she means the world to me and it would only hurt me more!
