Estimate of time to repossess a car?

I got my car in Florida 2 years ago. I now live in Chicago and I mail the payments. I have been making payments on time or early for these past two years. I mailed my money order, but they never received it. Now I have to find out what happened with the money order and there is a fee to reprint it. I will not get paid until the 25th, so I cannot make this month's payment or pay the fee to reprint last month's until then. I know companies can repossess the car immediately if payment is not made. But considering my payment history, me living in another state and also it not being on the list of "high-end" financier's...should I expect a repo man taking my car?
